Ms Fiona McGregorblock

University Teacher Art and Design Education                                                                     

Biography

Fiona McGregor is a University Teacher in Art and Design Education within the School of Education, University of Glasgow. She is Course Leader for the PGDE Art and Design programme and contributes widely to a diverse range of taught undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. She is an experienced musician who has initiated many highly successful creative arts projects for national and international arts, and disability organisations.  Formerly she was a Principal Teacher of Art and Design at secondary school.   She is a national subject assessor for Art and Design National Qualification Courses. Fiona’s research interests include Art and Design Education, Interdisciplinary learning, Design thinking and human values, Education Policy.
